So I am here at Disneyland, California staying at the Disney Grand Hotel located on Disneyland California (wow, how complicated was that?!) and the weather is nice, prices are outragous but above all, the air is filled with joy. If there was one word to describe what it is like to be at Disneyland, anywhere on their (what…10,000 acre land?), that word would be Happy. It seems that the saying “Happiest Place on Earth” is true! I can tell that the employees do not share that happiness (who does when you are working with people ranging from arrogant to bitchy with the rare case of niceness?) yet you still can’t help but smile when you enjoy walking around the park and seeing the characters dancing or standing in 40 min lines just to ride on some stupid kids ride! Disneyland, a magical, expensive, crowded place. (almost sounds negitive)
I know that being the pessimistic person I am, you’d think that I’d hate being here, with all these people and all the happiness. Well, you are partially right. One thing I hate about being in Disneyland is the fact that there are so many people; I don’t mean that there is a crowd like a concert, I mean a ***ing horde of people, there are literally more people in Disneyland at one day than there are in Vacaville after 10 years (each time they take the state cencius). Another thing is I dislike is the LA weather, I HATE LA WEATHER! I never understand why Disneyland always seems to have mood swings when it comes to Heat and Cold. In the summer time it is blazing, in the winter it is windy and rainy. Simple right? Well, any other season (spring, fall) are combined. In spring it is hot and windy, or warm and cloudy. Fall is rain, wind and clouds or just clouds. Ugh, right now in spring, it is Hot and Windy so when you go on wet rides it feels nice until you step out and the wind hits you
Other than that things have been wonderful, as for now, I have been out looking for 170 hidden Mikey’s in the park. So far? I have about 10….yea, I know I only have about 2 more days until I have to go, and I just found the book…but I am a good hunter, needles in haystacks don’t stand a chance aginst me! So now I am off, apparently Downtown Disney and a few hotels need to be scowered for Mickey’s before I can head back to the parks and find the rest of them!
